- Rinse Tilapia fillets in cold water, and pat dry with paper towels.
- Lightly sprinkle salt (approximately ¼ tsp.) and pepper on both sides of the fillets.
- Add oil in the flat pan, pan fry tilapia fillets over medium-high heat. Cook 3-4 minutes on each side (depending on the thickness of each fillet to determine cooking time). Remove fillets from pan when cooked or lightly browned. If desiring crispier edges, allow the tilapia to cook longer in the pan.
