Flower Steamed Rolls

Ingredients A    
3 Tbs. Oil
tsp.  Salt 
3-4  Sprigs Green Onion (cut into small dices)


  1. Using Steam Bao Dough recipe to make Flower Steam Roll dough.
  2. Prepare a tray and sprinkle it with flour. Set aside for rising flower steam rolls later.
  3. Sprinkle flour on a dough board, roll out the dough into a large rectangular shape.
  4. Brush with oil, sprinkle salt, and evenly spread out green onion.
  5. Roll the dough from bottom up.
  6. Cut the roll into 20 pieces. As the same direction of the roll is cut, push in the center of each small roll with a chopstick. Pull each dough the long way and then roll it up.
  7. Place each flower roll on the tray prepared on Step 2. Allow the rolls to rise in oven for another 15-20 minutes.
  8. Steam in high heat for 10 minutes.
  9. Remove from heat, ready to serve.

Flower Steam Rolls can be stored in freezer, and reheat when ready to eat. They are perfect with a bowl of soup, or simply served as one of the breakfast items.
